I asked Lynn to create a special piece of art that I could reflect upon and draw inspiration from during a particularly difficult chapter in my life.  She exceeded my expectations with Journey Across the Abyss.  The colors truly captured the essence of my own personal journey and provided a source of comfort and hope. I am a certified mediator working with families in conflict, primarily in the area of divorce. Because divorce, separation and other family conflicts can be so devastating, it was important to create an environment that would support peace, forgiveness, calmness and beauty. To that end, I have several of Lynn's paintings in my office. Her use of color and her imagery are amazing, works of art that inspire and soothe at the same time. As the mediator, these pictures help me relax in the midst of the fire and chaos. They are powerful sentries and reminders that order, beauty, love and hope are our true nature and that to which we all aspire.
